Makercorps offers introductory modules in Arduino microcontrollers and robotics. For students who want to go deeper into electronics, embedded systems, and robotics, we’re building a dedicated pathway with outside partners — and student interest is what shapes it.

Introductory Modules

You don’t have to wait for the full pathway. Two Makercorps modules cover the fundamentals of microcontrollers and robotics today — a solid on-ramp into electronics, and the prerequisite for everything the dedicated pathway will build on.

M-05
Arduino
Microcontroller basics — wiring, code, sensors, and actuators. The foundation of interactive and embedded projects.
M-06
Robotics
Building on microcontrollers — motors, motion, and control systems for robotic assemblies.

The Dedicated Pathway

M-05 and M-06 get you fluent in the basics. The dedicated pathway is for students who want to go further — past what a self-contained module can cover, into the kind of depth that needs outside equipment, mentorship, and time.

We’re building it in partnership with organizations that already have that depth, rather than trying to build it all in-house from scratch.

Embedded Systems
Going past Arduino basics into more capable embedded hardware and firmware.

Advanced Electronics
Circuit design and hardware skills beyond what a single module assignment can teach.

Direction 03

Applied Robotics
Taking RoboDK/KUKA fundamentals from M-06 into real applied projects, with mentorship from partner organizations.

Direction 04

Community Mentorship
Access to people and equipment beyond what CAP Fab Labs has on its own, through the robotics club and Ivy Tech partnerships.
